HA! My game plan is to sleep in until 9 am, get up, have some coffee and watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on the internet!

Hope I didn’t mislead you, heh heh…  I need some new undershirts and that’s pretty much it.  I don’t think that’s worth the trouble to wake up early for.  I’m not the type that camps out all night and when I just go shopping at 2am, all the awesome deals are already gone.  I also need to furnish the condo living room, but that can wait a bit.  If I see an unbelievable deal on a sofa, then maybe I will venture out to the stores.

Uh oh, I’ve been informed that we are going to see the local Macy’s parade in person so I’m going to have to get up a bit earlier.  8 am is still pretty good.  Hopefully, it won’t be pouring rain next week.

Here are some Black Friday links on the PF blogosphere for the more hearty souls.  Yes, go out and shop, the economy needs you!  I’ll contribute on Cyber Monday. :)

Black Friday shopping tips and tricks from Wealth Informatic.  A detailed strategic plan to help you through the busiest shopping day of the year.

Free From Broke has more strategies on how to prepare for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Bucksome Boomer also has a plan for Black Friday shopping.

How To: Save and Earn During the Holidays with Your Chase Card. Dawn at Credit Shout wrote about various Chase card bonuses during the holidays. This is my one and only card and I just nudge over 5000 points last month. This mean I can redeem it for $50 and get a bonus $10 Best Buy gift card. Score!

Khaleef at KNS Financial listed the Black Friday deals at Walmart and CVS. Wow, a bunch of TVs on sale. He plans to highlight Walgreen’s, Best Buy, and Rite Aid over the weekend so check it out on the same link.

Free From Broke also listed the Holidays deals from ING. This one I am keeping tabs on because I need to open a higher yield saving account.

Here is a chance to win $700 from 7million7years! If I win this, my Black Friday would be so much nicer. :D

Although I love to get up early (2 am for shopping is a bit early even for me) I’m not heading out to face the Black Friday crowds this year. I’m going to do my shopping online from the comfort of my living room and with my hot cup of tea in hand! Enjoy the parade! Thanks for the mention.

Watching the parade sounds like a good idea! I don’t think we’ll be shopping on Black Friday but I might watch some deals online.

Thanks for the mentions!

I’m also more of a cyber monday than black friday guy! Not so big on crowds and I end up checking prices for everything on the Internet anyway.

I like Cyber Monday a lot more as well. It’s much nicer to shop from the comfort of my cubicle. :)
I hate the crazy crowd.

Shopping from the comfort of your cubicle? Where is your boss? I need to talk to him/her! LOL I think ALL of us do shopping from a comfort of our cubicles.

That’s why they call it Cyber Monday right? Everyone goofing off on the internet because they don’t want to be at work.

Thanks for including my Black Friday page! For those who don’t want to go out on Black Friday (I’ll be home sleeping), the drugstore sales that I outline all start on Thanksgiving. We plan to go at 12:01 am to all 3 if possible!
