FinCon 2012 Roundup

I’m in Denver for FinCon 2012. I missed FinCon last year because baby RB40 was only 6 months old, and I didn’t want to leave him at home. This year, he is much bigger and more independent. Grandma came up to stay with him while I attend FinCon this year. I’m really looking forward to meeting all my blogger friends and learning a huge amount.  Retire By 40 is a Plutus Award Finalist in the Retirement category! OK, I confess. The headline is an attention grabber ploy, but it’s not a complete fabrication. Here check it out. Hey baby RB40, I caught you by surprise! See the baby gate behind him? That’s the box from the IKEA PAX closet. Grandma is moving in to help out for a while and Mrs. needs more closet space. She took over the closet in the 2nd bedroom a while back and can’t live without the extra space anymore. Sunday Blog Roundup & Occupy Portland Part 1

Today, I found out that I am not really cut out to be a beat reporter. I spent about 90 minutes at the Occupy Portland camp site just to check it out.  I was interested in what people thought they were trying to accomplish; however, it was quite tough for me to approach strangers and just start asking questions.
