I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We kept it low key and didn’t do much at all. We decided to put off the turkey until Saturday because we are lazy this year (and besides, the turkey was still frozen). We watched Outsourced (not bad), Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade on TV, and some football. Man, the NY Jets messed up pretty bad in the 2nd quarter so we changed channel after that.
For Black Friday, we will go out after all. We’ll just go to 2 stores and hope to get it done in less than an hour total. I’m just getting some 50% off socks and Mrs. RB40 wants some BOGO (buy one get one free) Pashmina scarves. I’ll put off the rest of my Black Friday list and try to get them on Cyber Monday instead.

Thanks much for the mention Joe! Good luck braving the crazies at Black Friday. I hope you have some fun people watching!
Thanks for the publicity for Buy Nothing Day!
Yeah, I don’t know when I’ve last seen a quarter of football like Q2 of the Pats/Jets–so ugly I had to look away. Good luck with the socks.
Thanks for the links, Joe. Happy Thanksgiving. It is your first as an independent person and the start of a new life.
Thanks for the mention and I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
