I have received my Kindle Fire, and I love it. For the life of me I can’t understand why anyone would buy an Ipad when you can buy a Fire for $200. Granted, I do not use it as heavily as some might, but it has been perfect for me. Some people I have let try it out have complained about the small screen size, but for me that is a bonus. I like that it is not any bigger than a book but is as powerful as an iPad. I have enjoyed the feature which allows you to download a free app from the app store every day. Also, the Kindle Lender’s Library, which allows Amazon Prime members to read certain books for free has been really nice. All things consider, I would definitely recommend a Fire to anyone.

Retire By 40 is celebrating our 1 year blog anniversary today with a great giveaway! We have teamed up with our good friend at Buck Inspire to do a joint giveaway. Our friends at the Yakezie Network also contributed many prizes for the giveaway. Both of us started blogging last year on the same day – October 7th, what are the chances of that?
It has been a great year and I would like to thank all our readers and supporters who made Retire By 40 such a success. The one thing I learned over this past year is that a support network is priceless. I joined the Yakezie challenge right after we started and that was the best move I could have made. Whenever I have any questions, there is always someone knowledgeable to answer them. Everyone is always helpful and supportive and it would have been a much more difficult year without Yakezie.

It’s amazing to think that I have reached so many readers. I know some blogs get 50,000 visitors per month, but I still think our one year number is quite awesome. I can’t wait to see what next year will bring!
