Gym Is Closing Down For Remodel

Our gym at work is closing down for a 3 month remodel…. This is going to throw a huge monkey wrench into my New Year’s Resolution of staying alive and exercising 4-5 times per week. I go to the gym at lunch and it really helps me get through the day. Humans aren’t built to work on a computer all day long. How Often Do You Check Your Net Worth?

Your net worth is the value of your asset minus debt. I have a spreadsheet that I set up to calculate our net worth. I have to manually enter the latest stock prices, but that’s all right because it makes me more aware of how my investments are doing. It’s a bummer updating this spreadsheet during the down market though. Sometimes I ignore it for days and only update it when things start to look better. Style Over Safety for British Motorists

According to the results of a new survey, British motorists are putting their lives at risk in pursuit of looking good behind the wheel. While many people might assume the poll refers to those drivers who appear to spend entire journeys checking their reflection in the rear-view mirror, the survey actually pertains to drivers whose choice of eye-wear is questionable. Commissioned by GetLenses, the survey claims that only 27 per cent of motorists in Britain possess prescription sunglasses. I read an article on TIME the other day on how much we spend on driving. It was actually a summary of a study from Energy Trap. The study is quite long and I bookmarked it so I can go through it in detail. Basically, they are saying an American family spends more money on their ride than on health insurance or taxes.
