Memorial Day Roundup

05.30.2011

I hope everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend. It’s a day to honor remember the men and women who lost their lives while serving in the United States Armed Forces. It’s also the traditional start of the Summer. A quick round up is all I’m up for this weekend. Sometime you need a day off from blogging. Hobi eventually got a few pieces of the ribs. April 2011 Credit Card Bill

05.27.2011

It’s time to look at the credit card bill again. In April, we did a great job and used the card very little. We are on a bit of a roll here and hope we can keep it up for a few more months. This is a rental and a non owner occupied home will get a .5% worse rate [...]

By simple definition, a Sub-Prime Mortgage is a mortgage note issued to a lender that could not qualify by traditional standards.  As a sub-prime borrower, these higher risk [...]

05.21.2011

We had a great time with the Yakezie Blog Swap #7 – “Balancing Frugality and Fun.” I wrote about all the frugal fun we have when the weather turns nicer in Portland at Prairie Eco-Thrifter. There are so many perspective on this topic, it’s worth going to read all of them, but I think I still have the most fun.   Here is the list of articles & have a great weekend! Latisha Styles shares her story about going on a shopping diet at Narrow Bridge. The other Joe shares with us his memories of time with his Grandpa growing [...]
